How y'all durin,
I'm new to this forum and am wondering, where can I find a 1895CB in 45-70 for sale? I live near Houston and can't find one anywhere. I've been looking for a few months with no luck. I want to spend around $700. Any help will be appreciated.
here is one on Gun Broker, but just a bit pricy.

Welcome from the Republic of Texas (H-town)...Did you try the usual suspects, like Collectors or Gande$ mtn. ? There are a bunch of smaller shops in town that will sometimes take trades or buy guns, they may have the one your looking for...

I just posted a nice one that I saw at the Belton gun show this past weekend. Perhaps you can find the vendors and contact them. They wanted $600 for a what looked like new cowboy. If I had the money it would have darn well been mine!
