A friend (non marlin owner) directed me here. Said this is the place for info and assistance.
Unfortunately as soon as I have 25 posts. I'll be putting up one of two Marlins for sale.
One is a bucket list gun that didn't get used. The other I'm still able to use as plinker (VLS.17hmr)
So once i hit the magic 25.
Whats the sound advice about selling on line?
And how does one determine price? Should I go to a gun shop and pay for an apprasal?
add back in the 30 - 40 % cut?
I actually have two rifles to go but the other is not a Marlin. Suggestions on where to go with that?
( what are "TAGS" from bottom of this?

Hello and Welcome to MarlinOwners from New York!
Now to figure a price, look on gun auction sites and see approx what your guns are selling for. Sometimes they go high because of bidding wars, but you can still get an idea....
If you post pics and description here we all can help you too.

Marlin 444P
Burris 3X9 "Short Mag" scope, built to take a pounding
Limb saver pad (still have original)
Quality Leather sling
Iron sights remove (kept wrapped in storage baggie)
Total rounds fired: 40 + - 5
Cleaned after two usages and every six months since.
Stored in Dry Gun safe.
Overall condition: Perfect
But how much off for being fired 40 rds?
I'd have to look but I might have the original box.
Whats a fella to do?
