I've got a Marlin L.E 3080, .. I just recently discovered this site and have found the history of the gun, and I understand(to my understanding!!) that its a Model 30 Marlin... So my question is, I'm finding PLENTY of replacemet stocks for the 336's, no luck on the model 30's... but with them "looking" similar, what will fit and what wont fit,, Will a 336 stock fit on a LE 3080? .. Im wanting to pull the wood stock/arm off and stash them away to protect them over the years.. I appreciate any help, Luke

Welcome from Arkansas! You are correct, just make sure you get the correct forearm and not a barrel band forearm.

Welcome, from DFW, Texas...the black plastic replacement for the 336 butt stock will fit your Mod 30, but the hand guard will need to be fitted (not to hard) due to it being a barrel band forend.
