    New 795 owner (Seattle area)

Actually, our 795 is still in transit between FFL's, but by this time next week, we should have it in hand.

I've already prepared by buying an official red-trimmed Marlin soft case, a NCStar 3-9x40 (50 yard paralax-free) scope, five extra magazines, a webbing sling, and 1600 rounds of CCI Mini-Mag HP for it - the intended use will be Varmint Shoots and maybe getting The Missus qualified as an Appleseed Rifleman.

My nickname (Doc) was given to me because of my initials (M D Nugent), but I also earned a PhD in psychology back in 1978. We retired from Boeing in 2002 and are big fans of Senior Discounts and Social Security for those who are already on it . . . . Other than our entitlements, though, we believe in a small federal government. Just bein' honest.
