Hi everyone ! Ohio just made it ok to use certain straight walled rifle and pistol cartridges for deer hunting, 4570 being one of them. I bought an 1895 sbl to celebrate the occasion and am hoping to learn about handloading and general information about my new rifle . I hope to get to know all of you in the future. ... Mudd

yes, was watching that ruling this spring, with the new demand in OH, I think it may have increased the value to those who own those calibers here, .
Welcome come from east central Florida. I am jealous. When I lived in Pickerington, Ohio all I could use was a shotgun, bow, muzzle loader, or pistol. It's about time they woke up. The 1895 will serve you well. An 1894 is probably on your wish list.
