Hi, I've recently inherited a few Marlin lever action rifles and I know I will have some questions. I figured I would introduce myself first, then barade you all with my inquiries. The guns include a rough 1893 needing a forend and some talc, a 39a in excellent condition and a near new 1893 "for black powder only" with spotless bluing and wood.
welcome to the MO from the motor city! congratulations on inheritting what sounds like some very nice boom sticks!:congrats: enjoy them and the case of marlinitis!
Thanks all. Any chance one of you has a forend for my 1893? I was hoping to find an original that might match the finish of my stock, otherwise I'll get a repro and try to match the color and age.
