I got one! Finaly after 27 years I got back into Marlin lever actions. Found a 1983 336 cs in 35 rem. I gave my uncle my 1894 44mag back in 1986. I've been missing it ever since. How do I join the 35 club? I have lots of questions about restoring my new hog gun.
My first guns were Marlins, then I sort of got away from them. I guess I took them for granted. They were like Chevy's. They will always be around, then they were gone. Who knew back then.
Greetings from South Dakota. You'll find lots of info and helpful folks here.
Went to Cabela's yesterday to get powder and primers. Walking by the bags of brass, the stock was scarce. There were three bags hanging, one bag of .300 Weatherby, one bag of .338 Remington Ultra Mag,and one bag of .35 Remington. Huh.
Welcome from New York farm country, long live the .30-30, keep your ammo dry!:beerglass:
