Grubbing around the local Cabela's today, they had an Uberti 1873 in .357 mag, 24" octagonal barrel, casehardened receiver in the Used rack, just beautiful. Me so horny!!!

Tagged at $899, how's that price? Not that I could afford it, but it sho' was nice.....

Took a quick look at GB and that looks like a good price for one.
I've never seen one in person.

_MG_4224.jpg_MG_4226.JPG_MG_4228.jpghere is a couple of photos of my 44 wcf short rifle. it is a blast to shoot with black powder. I paid more than that for mine, about 1200 but it was new. this is the second one I have had and they are as nice as they look.

Sure is some nice toggle link levers there. I picked up an 1873 in 22lr and boy is it a blast to shoot. First 1873 I guess I ever shot. It was a whim purchase and now I'm glad I did. I may have to get me another. JEB
A List of levers coming soon.

The Uberti's are outstanding firearms! I've had a few of their rifles and you cannot go wrong! $900 is about right for a nice used Uberti. If I'd have seen it for that price it would come home with me! Pictures do not do these rifles justice!
This is an 1873 45LC with 30" octagon barrel:
