Wow came to the right place to learn. Just got this old Ben P looks like it needs a string at least 56 inches probably going to have to learn how to make a string for it.. Gonna have to learn fletching and making up the leather to use the beast. If I like it I'll look at the investment in some fancy bow.
Yep ya found the right place. What does it say on your bow?? We can help ya buy the right string..set your brace height and nock position.. chose ah rest...pick the right arras..and give ya pratice hints. After that it's all on you ta post pics of your trad kills.![]()
Proverbs 12:27
"The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious."
I tried a lot of production and custom bows and then I bought my first Black Widow. Now thats all I own besides a couple old Bears that I just have around for the memories. I usually hunt with my T/D Widow longbow and do 3D's with a Widow recurve. FRJ
Since I have been building my own self bows, I have a 50#@27 62" modified Cherokee flat bow in blk locust,
The one on the right is a Timberhawk Premier Talon 62", 65#@27",
I have a 62" T/D Longbow 55# @ 27" coming from the same maker and I am hailing it to be my last glass bow! Reason, building bows is lots of fun and after 2 years I'm starting to get the hange of it.![]()
