    Nice Week at the Camp

Passed a nice week with the wife at our fishin camp. We caught a bunch of nice speckled trout, some redfish and a few flounders. We fished, drank too much, talked about people that weren't there to defind themselves and generally had a good ole time

Man it was nice spending some time alone without kids, grandkids, work etc!

Reminded me why I love this place I live in so much. Good fishing relatively close, huntin relatively close, great food and friendly people.

Won't be long now and I will be itching to go to the deer camp and get the party started!

Sounds like every base was covered, nice job!

Do you take the wife to deer camp too? IDK if I could do that...

Yeah guys, it was just what I needed, as I knew I had a darn trip to Middle East this week. I hate going there, but you gotta make a buck and I have a couple of clients there.
Roan444, I DO NOT even invite the wife to the deer camp She luvs to fish, but huntin not so much.
My youngest daughter (24) decided last year she wants to deer hunt because she luvs venison. So I'm trying to get her through hunter ed course. She spent several days on stand with me last season and we watched a bunch of deer. I think if she gets her licesne this year she will be so angry not being allowed to shoot last year that she will lower the boom on buck or doe!
I also think she knows the 5 y/o grandson will be wanting to come and she doesn't want to be left out in the coming years
