Ladder Peep sight for 1894, 1895 and 336 rifles

I just finished a rear sight that several folks have asked for. It is a ladder peep sight that fits the 336, 1895 and 1894 Marlin rifles. I wish I knew how to load pictures so you could see it.
    One is on e-bay.

Ladder Peep sight for 1894, 1895 and 336 rifles

    Hi Tim,

Now that I've conquered the almost uncontrollable urge to call you "Mr. Skinner" (old habits die REALLY hard sometimes, lol), you can email the pix to me and I'll host them on my Photobucket account. It's a free account, so I don't know how much bandwidth it's good for, but might be enough for here.

Andy has nothing but good things to say about the sights you're making. They certainly look good to me.

Let me know if I can help. Alternatively, you can have your own free Photobucket account. http://photobucket.com to sign up, upload pix, and then you can put links to those pix here.

Do you maintain your own website? You could always put the pix on your site and then link to them here.

    Best regards,

Here's one of it in the "up" position as seen slightly from the rear...

And here's one in the "up" position seen from the front...

    Cost

I need about $75 for a set of these. As always satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.

Ladder Peep sight for 1894, 1895 and 336 rifles

wonderful!!! and about 50 bucks cheaper than other ladder sights I have seen. The sight appears to have a nut at the bottom of the ladder, I take it this locks the ladder in the up position. I know I know, probably a silly question. I will look on your sight for further info. great lookin sight.

    Ladder sight.

The sight is held upright by a combination of friction and a stop. The screw on the side allows adjustment of the tension. hopefully it will never need to be adjusted, but if it does, I want the owner to be able to do so. I've not had problems on my 45-70 for many rounds.

This is a great sight but it needs a sight when in the down position also. Just an idea

    rear sight

The sight on the barrel works for my 1895 when the ladder is down. But you are correct, one should be integral with the ladder sight.
