I'm wanting to replace the front sight hood on my 39A and I see them online at parts dealers but these are flattened on top. I did find one on ebay which the seller says is OEM and it is rounded on top........ I'm new at owning a 39A so which one is the correct hood flattened or rounded.... would REALLY appreciate some help with this... there is a considerable price difference and I'd like to stay with "original" parts....the one on ebay is 28 Bucks delivered and the parts stores are about 7-8 Bucks.....
Hey there FNFB -- The hood configuration is related to the year of manufacture of your rifle. If you don't know the manufacture date, try looking down in the reference section. Best regards. Wind
Thanks Wind....the rifle is a 1967 model if that help identify the type hood ..... Bob
JoeBud, thanks for your help...... I just ordered one form the site you sent me to......Thanks Bob
