Hey all, first post here. On Saturday I picked up a 1950 39a. The gun is astounding, and the accuracy blows my 10/22 away. But... It does have a broken cartridge guide spring. I need to order it, but I don't know if my rifle is a early or late model. What are the dates that categorize which model is which?
I'm not sure of which dates, but I would categorize a 1950 model as early. I have a 1947 and 1982 model and I don't see much of a difference between the two guide springs. They look identical.
I called Numrich this morning. They told me the same thing. Parts are on the way!!
