cool.thnaks for the info. i was able to go to the range had some nice temps around 92 with clouds . using win x22mh and dynapoint. sounds sweet. very accurte much more than my 795. but wear can i get a rear sights be cause its mising. i was still able to hit my target. but a rear sight would help at longer range. hers some pics of what i shot it took a brick and put it in two peices on the first shot. love the power. and would love to hear whats the best ammo for . the marlin 25mn

I use CCI ammo and for a rear sight, I would post a WTB ad here in the for sale section.

ill try some cci maxi mag tnt. it seems to like the 40 grain over the 45 gr dyanpoint. the 40 gr was more accurte. and not one miss fire. had a small amount of rust on the bolt came right off with solvent. im glad i could save it from the gun store. doesent look like its been shot that much. and i cant find the wanted section . to post for a rear sight.

I've got a 25mn. I bought it in 2002+/-. Great shooter, never had a misfire. I use CCI's, or whatever I can find the cheapest. It doesn't really seem to care.
I don't think the 25mn was in production very long, I may be wrong (probably am) but I don't think it was produced but for, say, 5 or 6 years. But it's a really n i c e gun.

I have a 25mn that I bought new in 2000 and I always shoot Winchester 40 gr. fmj. to squirrel hunt ,head shots only. Simmons 3x9x40 scope 3/4 in. group at 75 yrds.Great & reliable gun.

glad to hear other pepole have the 25mn and like it. ill get differnt ammo and see what it likes best. just not dynapoint. seems underpowerd. and is the sight on the 25mn special it looks like the ishgt on my 795. the reat sight.
