I just bought a papoose, NEVER fired and is 20 plus years old. Any clue what it is worth?
Well, go to the auction sites and fixed price retail sites like GunsUSA and Armslist and see what the trend is. I realize "never fired" might put it up in price more. I think I am seeing asking prices around $250 for the wooden stock, blued steel ones from before the synthetic/stainless model.
Especially if it has the floating case...and Box...price goes UP!
A firearm should be a tool in the hands of a deadly weapon, not a deadly weapon in the hands of a tool.

I was looking into getting one before eventually buying one of the new Ruger 10/22 takedowns. They are pretty hard to come by, and I think a mint one in box would fetch $350 +.
I paid $119 for my first one. It was also NIB, never fired, with the "floating" backpacking case. That was about 22 years ago. Seeing as how yours is newer, I'll give you $150.
I see them for between 150-250. I have allways wanted one but never pulled the trigger. No pun intended.
