    Couldn't walk away

I have visited my LGS three times in the past two weeks and this little gem still sat on the back rack today. I couldn't leave her there any longer so I took her home. She will need some cleaning and I have a vintage Weaver 22 scope on its way for her. Glenfield/Marlin Model 60. 24 serial # I believe makes her a 1976.photo 1.JPGphoto 2.JPGphoto 3.JPG

man ill tell you what,I just purchased a mint model 60 myself about 3 mo ago and I bet ive run 500 rounds through it already.I forgot how much fun it was to shoot one of these.I also put a nice 6 power scope and rings on it and it is scary accurate. The squirrels are going to jump out of the trees and commit suicide at the mere sight of this thing lol!,congratulations on a great rifle.FRAN

I dont think you can ever go wrong with those little 60s. I have a 3x9 on mine and shes a hoot to shoot. Squirrels dont stand a chance.

The GF has a Glenfield 60 and it's probably the best shooter of the group of my Marlin 60, 60 DLX and 99M1!, better than a 10/22 for shure!
