Dont have any experience w/ the 795, but have a couple Shooters Ridge 25 round mags for the Ruger 10/22 they function okay w/ seldom FTF's only . . the steel lipped BX-25's from Ruger never fails to feed.

    FYI folks,

The reviews on vendor websites tend to be fairly positive (not sure believe all those-consider the source!). But I want to believe 'em.
However, they were SCREAMED on a you tube review by the nutnfancy guy. (comically so!)

I trust the MO crowd above all so if there's any firsthand experience I'd love to hear it.

    All the best,
    Elvis

I WANT ONE. Love my 795 & have been looking for something like this. I'd buy one for the money. When i was looking for High Caps for my Camp 45, I WANTED something beyond 8 rounds. Had to have a 15 round (largest made) stick magazine, problem was, that on sites that sold them I read at least 10 bad reviews for every 1 that was at least "ok". Also read, on this site this time, that the Camp 45 only excepted 1911 mags with the square rear cut-out not the round (which helped and is correct), BUT NOBODY could tell me which of the three manufacturers who made the 15 rounders had the right cut out. Also, found older information on how poor all of the 15 round stick mags were. I rolled the dice, went with what my gut told me to go with and TODAY I couldn't be happier. I have 3 perfectly functioning 15 rnd magazines. I've since helped folks on this site find quality 15 round sticks that work in their Camp Carbines and have posted all of the info on this site that I was looking for that was "missing".

Point: What does your gut tell you? Do you want it? It's just a $20...do it! Then you can report to all of us on it.
Note: If it works in the 795, it works in the Papoose. They are identical in that regard.

Elvis never used those...but Ruger 10/22 I use the steel lip. The hot lip w/ red plastic cost less and in very short time the gun jams.

I recall many posts that talk about this magazine. But when I ask if anyone has used it and what they thought of it, I would never get any replies. Now I know - it doesn't work.

I bought one, it wouldn't feed; It seemed as if the rounds weren't sliding up the magazine. I tried loosening up the lips, but it seems as if it's too tight down in the magazine itself, or the spring is too weak. I wrote an e-mail to Shooters Ridge and they sent me back some suggestions, but none of them work. I'm not in a position to get to the range every week any more, so testing out fixes takes me a month or so. I'm disappointed! I'd send it back, but since I spent $19 + shipping I don't feel like spending several bucks to send it back to them.

Now we're talking guys...Elvis, your getting good information. Your getting more than I could on my carbine- different mag manufacturer too. But trust these guys...they know what they are talking about. You are in a better position than I was, but same is true...What does your gut tell you? Bet at this point I could guess.

Here's another review. This guy is much more favorable toward them:

Gosh, that could be fun with a couple dozen reactive targets!
