    Marlin 25N

Who else has one of these? This one is in really nice shape. My brother picked it up from his buddy who owns a gun shop. It was traded in and he got it for a song.

I have 3 Hal, simple strong design, inexpensive, all shoot bulk into less than 1/2" at 50 yds. Great gun it will really grow on you and yours looks spotless.

My 25n gopher gun, now has a Bushnell Trophy 4-12 with the ballistic plex.

My wife and my knock around 25n's, shortened to 16.5" with stocks slimmed, and magazine cut to 4 rounds for easier field carry:

    Nice rifles Picket Pin.

    I really like those shorties!

I'm doing up a 925 right now for my niece. They are just the "new" version of the 25. What a fun and handy little gun and definitely went right onto my want list.

I've got a Glenfield 25 all apart. Need a barrel and a new squirrel stock for it (if I can find a squirrel).

I have one as well. It was my first gun.

It is introspective, and I want to introspect.

They seem to be pretty cool little guns. You can't go wrong with a good bolt action 22.

I have an older model 25N without checkering and a forestock that comes to a blunt end. It is a pretty accurate little shooter, and I had a trigger job done on it.

    Re: Marlin 25N

Looks like my question was answered with this topic. I have a bunch of lever .22's and a pump and an auto. What I really wanted was a clip fed bolt action with some wood (but not camo) and the 925 looks like a winner without spending a lot of money.

The only other two I was considering was an older Weatherby (outrageous prices!) and the Remington 5 which was recently discontinued but looks like a very nice gun for the money. Why do I always have to make choices? Any help?

I've gotta speak up for the "25"... My Marlin/Glenfield 25 was hacked to hell before I got it... but, in spite of that, has been a true tack-driver. It's getting a new stock and barrel so I can enjoy it once again. When I was a cop, I was "ok'd" by the Chief to buy/have it... but, now that I'm not in that line of work anymore... there's no reason for this gun to be "incomplete"... so... I'm fixin' it back to as close to original as I can.
