Anyone know where I can find a Weaver N3 scope base for a 1955 Sears Mountie 39A? Thanks for any info you can provide.

First off the N2 will also fit. The N3 was tall enough so the iron sights could be used also. Lot of them are for 7/8th dia scopes and very hard to find a good one. Look for a 3/4 mount. I have an N3 that I made some adaptor shims to allow the 3/4 to be used.

There is a Weaver N3 3/4" scope mount on ebay, starting bid is $12.95 plus $4.00 shipping. If that doesn't work for you I do have a N2 3/4" that I would sell.
What is the difference between the N3 and the N2? Could you post a link to the one on E-Bay. Could not find it, Thanks, Tom

Sorry, I've been away for a few days so missed your message back. I see the N3 on ebay was sold, did you by chance find it? The post above explains the difference between the N2 and N3, I don't have any additional info.
