I was wondering if any of you here have had a chance to compare the new 900 series trigger with the old one. Is there any improvement over the "lawyer trigger" of recent times?
If there was no improvement for the shooter, then why the switch? I was able to compare photos of the new and old rifle basix triggers. That probably isn't a valid comparison, but it looks like the new trigger shape doesn't have any manufacturing advantages over the old.
I have a Marlin 880SQ with the rifle basix trigger installed....what an improvement! I speak theoretically, when I suggest Marlin might have done the switch in order to thin it down and eliminate the sear adjustment stop on the rifle basix triggers.....is this possible?
