Happened upon another picture. Boss paid $10 per head last winter because of the damage squirrels do.

The receiver and bolt are original. Beyond that not much else.

Figured I'd show you all how my grandson is liking his rifle.......

BTW--this old 10/22 is heads up much better in quality than what Ruger is selling today. I have handled many new 10/22s in various shape, sizes, and colors--they are pretty cheeeeep compared to this rifle that I bought for 78 bucks almost 40 years ago.

When I was in hi school a local politician who had a show farm, stopped at neighboring farm where I had got exclusive rights to hunt
ground hogs. A lot of the big farmers didn't want just anyone on their farms with HV rifles because of their live stock. My uncle was
insurance man that got me in. Anyway this politician stopped and wanted me to shoot his groundhogs, he futher offered 50cents @
bounty. I would have been happy to shoot them for nothing but he made the offer. That evening I shot 7 on his farm, he told me
just to stop by his house to get paid. I did, there was another kid there selling corn. Politician was fumbling for $2 to pay kid for corn.
He ask me if I had $2, I gave him $2 to pay for corn. Kid leaves and politician goes to get my money, has nothing smaller than a $50.
He said he hated to write a check for such a small amount, could I just add it to his bill and he would catch me later. Well he didnt
live on the farm, he lived in DC. I shot another 20 some groundhogs off his place and never did catch him. His grounds keeper would
tell me I would have to catch him to get paid. Never did, he even got me for the $2 corn money. You guessed it a Democrat. Stores
went out of business years after he died with unpaid bills still on the books.

Their are only two kinds of people, those who own a 444 and those who wish they owned one,
and yes folks, denial is bliss!

Not much has really changed in the world in 2000 years, Christians are still being thrown to the Lions! and
Satans tool of Deception is still working like a charm, from the time of Adam and Eve, to today!
