    Recovery Rifle

Well, at any rate that is what I am calling it. A recovery rifle.

I know this is a lever forum but I just thought I would share a bit of my latest project.

Long story short, I ended up with a hip replacement in December. I promised myself that I would use a rifle for encouragement to fight through recovery. The rifle I picked is a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. I will swap out the NightForce 5x25 scope from my Rem 700 308 for now. Here are a few pics of my recovery rifle.

Here's to a quicker, more pleasant recovery. Nice pick! May I be so bold to suggest no hip shooting?

I have a Ruger precision in 308 with a NF 8-32X56 scope .An almost dime size group at 200yrds.
Have gone out to 650yrds and hit the center of a 6" metal plate pretty consistently too!
Wanted the Creedmore, but got the 308 because of ammo availability.
I love it,the thing shoots great!

Wow that's really cool. I have heard those are the most accurate rifles on the market today in that price range and would love to see a range report. Best of luck with the recovery!
Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

A great way to rehab that hip. Now, every 5 shots at 100 yards, you must walk to your target you see where they hit. Using a spotting scope will be considered poor therapy.

Better yet, drain the entire pool!

Nice recovery! Black and nasty, it must really put the fear in libs. They will want to ban it, it is black, and stock bends - oh my!
