Beautiful rifle, but I can get all bent out of shape when I put a little ding in one of my "cheapie" (compared to this thing) rifles. I can't imagine what I do if I scratched that thing!

They say you need a diamond to scratch that rifle! Anyways, I have 25 or 30 years before writing that check, so no worries.

By the way, that is actually my rifle in .375 H&H magnum. It also appears on the cover of the 2011 May-June issue of Sports Afield and is covered inside. These rifles are definitely worth the price. Mine shoots groups of 3/4 inch at 100 yards. The stocks are laminated Turkish walnut and are extremely rugged. The rifle has been on 2 African safaris with another planned for next year. Erik Eike and Gene Gordner are building me a custom lever action based on a Marlin 336 in all stainless in 30-30. These are not gun safe queens. They are meant to be hunted.
    Kaweskar and 336ER like this.

That rifle of yours is a beauty and a great caliber. How long is the lead time when you order one of these rifles?

    Cheers

One scratch on that would devalue it more the the total amount for my small collection. No thanks. That is an expensive safe queen.
Anything made by or touched by man is bound to foul up sooner or later, more than likely sooner or just out of warranty.
