Video can be viewed on line now( Reflex264 Shooting Video)

Thanks to one Mad Russian the shooting video can be viewed on line and downloaded. The DVD and VHS will be clearer. The sound is quiet which we didn't realize until it was too late. I am headed to the post office to find out about shipping on the VHS and DVDs. I will post it for those that wanted to pay shipping. I hope you enjoy it. Crude this time but we will do a professional video with lots of stuff on it later. I am not encouraging anyone to make shots you are not comfortable with. I am encouraging everyone to get to know their rifles to the point where you are comfortable in any situation you might encounter. I won't bat an eye at a 300 yards shot with a 45-70 but I pratice and know the rifle and load to a tee. reflex264

Glad you like it. As you can see this can be applied to any rifle/cartridge combo. I have more tricks up my sleeve but you will have to wait for the professional video next year. I will do some very long shots with the "boogieman" and some pistol shots. I didn't know my year was going to be work work work. I didn't finish calibrating my scope on the boogieman but will do some 700-800 yard shots just for fun on the cut out targets and probably some 200+ yard revolver shots. I have a bunch of tricks and need to pass them on. reflex264

Great video reflex! It is exactly what I have said when people ask how far should you shoot at game? As far as you want, if you have practiced with your rifle and know what it will do. The deer don't like it

Hello Riflemen-That's pretty cool Reflex. You don't need me to tell you that you're a fine marksman. Certainly better than me and especially with a big bore. Serious crop damage caused by over population of deer is uncommon around here but that looks like a mess that you're trying to clean up there. What scope do you use on the 45/70? Glad you like it guys. Anything I do on the video can be dulpicated by knowing your rifles and practice. I feel sure everyone of you can do the same thing. Cut out a pice of cardboard like a deer. Get another large piece of cardboard and paint it black or some very dark color. Run your charts. Measure another piece of cardboard like I did and tack it on the deer cutout. Set it in front of the large dark piece of cardboard. Now you are ready to practice. Same thing applies if offhanded or from a rest. Don't let this fool you. I do use rests when practical. Once you actualy get used to the sight picture it becomes second nature.

The scope used in this video is a Leupold VariX-III 1.75X6.

The exact load used in this video is the one Jake named the wonder wopper. The exact loading is a secret because of the way it is loaded. I will tell you it is a 350gr Hornady flat nose traveling around 2100fps from the 24" barrel of the LTD-V. You can get very close to the load by starting with H4198 and working up till you have 2025fps from a 22" barrel or 1950fps from a guide gun. The loads in this video came from the same lot# that BestLever has. reflex264
