We're happy to announce our newly expanded Rifle Front & Rear sights family of products all of which come in day and night sight options. You can get all of the details and specifications on our website page here.

We'd like to try something a little different. We respect all of you and want to get some feedback. So five MOF members have the opportunity to get one free sight set (one Universal 3/8" Dovetail Rear Sight and One Front Sight) if they can help us and the forum members out with feedback.

Here's how it works:
1. Respond to this thread that you'll be a reviewer - but only if you have the time to get to the range and really review these sights (we'll PM with you and ship you the free set)

2. Install and use the sights on your rifle(s) (Marlin, Henry or otherwise) and provide a review on this thread by 3/15/17 to the MOF Forum

* Interested in your feedback regarding quality, speed and precision, ease of use, elevation and windage adjustability, primary vs. secondary aiming, and anything else you care to share.

The Ranger Point Rifle Front & Rear Sights family includes:

1. Universal 3/8" Dovetail Rear Site

2. Integrated Backup Rear Sight (flush mounts onto the front of our Rhino rails)

3. Triangular Front Sights that come in five heights

Thanks in advance to everyone for your support! We look forward to starting a dialog and hearing feedback from everyone - one of the five official reviewers or not.
Adam

Thanks dude. With this thread, we wanted to give back to the MOF community and provide an easy way for some members to get to try them out and share their feedback. :listen:

Gentlemen,

Thank you for volunteering to test our products. If you experience any side effects such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, restless leg syndrome or permanent memory loss, please keep those observations to yourself. If you experience giddiness, loss of ammunition, euphoria, or sore shoulders, we'll leave it to your best judgement. :nurse:

All kidding aside, we really do appreciate your participation. While the new sights are available now in our web store, we've always seen R&D as an ongoing process. We introduce the best design we can come up with, then make tweaks as necessary or desired as we go, and these tweaks are very often based on customer feedback. Just as we wouldn't set a customer adrift after delivering his rifle, we don't set our products adrift either. Manufacturing should be a process of continual refinement, and we take that process seriously, so please be forthcoming in your observations.

The hope is not just that we will gain valuable insight, but that the rest of you on MO will get some valuable second-hand experience that may inform your decisions moving forward. Our sights are a thoroughly new design, and it's not easy to put across the value of their unique features. Hopefully you, our brave testers, can help. Or bury us. We'll see.

Speaking of unique features. I encourage our testers to experiment with one in particular. Our RP sights are the only iron sights I'm aware of that have a built in secondary aiming point that allows on-the-fly range changes. While this feature may or may not get used in hunting situations, we found it grin inducing during testing. Being able to shoot quickly and precisely from 50 to 300yds with no sight adjustment was a lot of fun when plinking with our .30-30 test rifle. See what you think.

Happy shooting, and thank you again,

AD

Thanks all for the support! We've got almost everyone's info so we can mail the sets out tomorrow. TS is coming by in person next week to pickup his.

We sold about 10 sets pre-announcement and so far everyone is loving them.
