The Lord does not give us any burdens which we are not able to handle. Further he will not allow us to be tempted beyond that which we are able to resist. You, my friend, and Tara and Dan must be mighty strong people. May the Creator continue to strengthen you, Tara & Dan.

God's promise to His followers is His Grace. You have asked that for yourself and your family. God will see you through these times as He's promised. It may be hard, but that is our gift. His Grace is sufficient.
You and your family are in my prayers. May God bless and keep you.

Update 6/19/2012
I just thought I would send you an update on Tara and littleEmma. I believe the last news I gave you was that theMaternal-Fetal specialist said that Emma’s condition was not compatible withlife. In other words, she would be delivered via c-section and then die shortly after. This was devistating news at the time. Since then Tara has had an amniocentesis and a fetal MRI. Theamnio results came back normal, so no chromasonal abnormalities. Thefetal MRI indicated a very rare brain condition. Emma has a cyst in herbrain and fluid is present, more on one side of the brain than the other. She is also missing (as far as they can tell) her chorpus callosum whichis a membrane that divides the brain. These conditions indicate that Emmawill have some handicaps, however, the doctors cannot tell us how severe theywill be until after she is born and even later. It is basically a “waitand see” situation. These conditions ARE compatible with life and thedoctors expect that Emma will be able to breathe and eat on her own, etc. They think she will develop basic motor skills, sitting, walking, etc. They do think she will be able to easily live at and be cared for athome. Tara will be going in weekly for non stress tests, ultrasounds, visiting with her doctor to determine when they will do her c-section. Her doctor says there is no danger to the baby in waiting until about 37 weeksto deliver. They want to give her lungs as much time as possible todevelop. She will most likely have a shunt placed in her brain two daysafter birth to control the fluid and they will drain the cyst. They saidshe could go home as soon as two weeks old. Tara and Dan are adjusting tothis news and want to prepare to give Emma the best care they possiblycan. I can see the results of fasting and prayer in their attitude andapproach to raising a handicapped child. Of course, we are all mourningthe loss of a healthy baby, but want to do all we can to give Emma the bestlife possible. Please continue praying for Dan and Tara and Emma. Wewill all need your prayers and support as we move forward. Thank you allfor your love and concern. We are just grateful that we will not lose Emma.
Thank you all for your prayers. Keep em coming.
