    Thirty Chihuahuas!

Police in adjoining county found a woman dead on her porch. When they went inside the trailer they found THIRTY Chihuahuas in filthy conditions.

They don't have an animal shelter so they contracted with my county's shelter, where my wife volunteers, to take care of any animals.

We ended up transporting two dozen dogs to other shelters to make room for the little dogs.

Really amazing what some people will do.

Hopefully you can find homes for them. That's a lot of Chi hoah hoahs.

I can't imagine the yapping that went on inside that home. I love my little chihuahua, but they don't fare well in shelters etc... they are scared, cowed down, nippy, and not what people want to see when they do get a animal from a shelter.... I hope they find a new owner

It is horrible for sure, many appeared to be inbred, which is never good. I love dogs, but I never quite understood the attraction to the Taco Bell dog.

Howdy Wild Turkey! We are in the same town. I've found two wonderful dogs at our local Pound over the years! But I haven't been there since they moved it. I don't trust myself. The last two times I went there, I left with a dog. My heart melts when they look at me from inside those fences and cages.

New facility is very nice. LOML brought a kitten home when she started volunteering -- he was just a handful and we had to bottle feed him. He's now 3' long and a bunch of tomcat (neutered, of course).

    Those aren't dogs, they're rodents.

Sorry to disagree but they are dogs and they are both tough and sweet. My sister has one and she is an excellent watch dog and keeps my 92 year old mother company. I hope all the rescues do well.

I agree Clint, these two only went to the vet for boarding one time, and that did not go over very well. But they are great company and entertainment for my wife.

Lucky dogs, now that they've been discovered. Animal hoarders are a sick bunch.
