If there was a "team", others would catch on. There just isn't enough mr-7's to go around.

I've always wanted an MR-7. It just seems like every time I actually see one for sale, it will be on the day I'm broke. Every time I have some spare gun cash, there's not one to be found. From what I read about it, it should be as good as if not better than the Model 700 that I'm so fond of.

My current favorite bolt gun is a long lasting love affair with the mild mannered, petite little Model 7. No, it's not a 700 short action. She's smaller and lighter and trimmer. But that's a whole nother story. I'd still very much like to add an MR-7 to the stable, team or no team.

I just did some trading for a MR-7 today in 30-06 and plan to try and get out early in the morning before it gets too hot to see how it shoots. I've never heard any reviews on them or anything I plan to handload for it so maybe it will be accurate enough for deer hunting in November. I'll post the results when I do shoot it.

You post those results (preferably in this thread) and I'll 'thank' you for it. I've always wanted an unbiased review of that rifle, just never met a shooter that mentioned he'd shot one. I don't hang out at MO as much as I used to, no thanks to facebook. Still, some good folks and good info on here!
