I guess this is the right place to post it. this is what I put together this afternoon.
Started with one Lee Enfield No4 mk1 that has seen better days. The wood work is much more different than the photo shows the bottom is really quite red. The barrel has been re crowned about 2 inches from the end of the muzzle so might try and drill a brake their.

next I fitted an ATI stock that fitted perfectly it just snapped in their. the best thing is it puts my eye right inline with the aperature sight like a good shotgun

Then I fitted an ATI scope mount which again snapped right in for a perfect fit

Yup the that's a night vision scope on it, an ATN mk410 aries that's surprisingly good I had it focused at about 75 yards easily. Could see out to a couple hundred yards as they claim.

topped off with a bone collector sling and a harris bipod I just have to sight it in an hope its accurate enough if not it'll be going to a 308 conversion and will definitely be getting a proper brake and cerakote

Nice!
I have had great results using gunkote. I would like to try cerakote sometime. I have never seen cerakote finish in person. And I think duracoat is trash. Great work by the way. Which tool are you using for the crown?

I don't know what was used for the crown it was like that when I got it. Hope it wasn't a hand drillCan't get duracoat over here anymore and can't seem to find gunkote over her either so I guess it leaves cerakote.

That's one fine hot rod. Cool!
So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights

We will make them give us light'
Now there's no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal

Ok took it to the range on Monday with 3 boxes of 180 grainers and had just 1 problem. That was the no drill scope mount won't stay put it keeps lifting under recoil. I tightened it back down and got a 3 shot group out of it before I noticed it had moved again. Lucky the group was about an 1 1/4 at 50 meters so hopefully there's life in the old girl yet. The recoil is only modest with the rubber eye cup of the scope just gently pushing against my glasses from the bench, that was one of my concerns as it wouldn't be a very good look getting a black eye every time I shot it. The plan is to reload it with some of those 123 grain hornady z max wich if it works should improve the recoil even more. The two stage trigger was actually quite nice as well once you get use to it. Have also bought a second mag for it as well. So just have to sought this mount out and should be sweet.

Update, sorted out that mount had to drill an indent into the receiver to give the grub screw screw something to bite into. But when I took it to the range it still would not group like I wanted. Tried 3 different types of ammo and the best group was 1.5 inches at 50 meters with most being closer to 3-4 inches. So have pulled the barrel and stuck a brand new 5 groove match barrel so will see how that goes. Kept the same contour but shortened the length to 22 inches so it will be a bit stiffer and a bit more handier.

Mixed day at the range yesterday, started off really good when I started running the new barrel in managed to get 3 shots into one hole at 50 meters which was only the 4,5 and 6th shots. Moved on to the 100 meter target went right beside the bull, but the next shot dropped 4 inches and the next went another 1.5 inches again. That !@#$ %^& mount is moving again so just continued to put a few more rounds through to finish runniing it in.Took it to the smith again this morning to get a couple of screws put in so hopefully that will sort it out for good.
The barrel is showing great potential at least considering i was using factory ammo
