I don't know if you remember our conversation about Dillion 550 b but we finally started building the new house. Which I'm not really too excited about doing but it's the hunting /reloading /guest house that I am concerned with. I have been stealing man cave ideas off the internet . The more I plan the more expensive it gets. I will send some pics when it's close to completion. Thanks for all the info.

Mark - I have a question regarding powder storage and longevity, understanding that smokeless powder does break down. I am having a difficult time finding components and would like to buy in bulk when I locate what I am looking for. I have storage maintained in a constant temperature range of approx. 70 degrees and .45-.50% humidity. Do you foresee any issues with longterm degradation of an opened can (broken seal) kept closed tightly under these conditions? A single 8lb can is just a lot cheaper then eight 1lb cans.
    Thanks Andy

Hey Mark, just want to thank you for your kind words and likes for my S&W thread. I'm just shy of 40 have a real soft spot for the older Smith's. After having my gunsmith show me the insides of one from the 70's next to a current model, I'm totally hooked on the original classics.

Just tallked to someone at Penn Bullets, he didn't sound like he was in the best mood. Anyway, he said they're going to run a boatload of 45/70 next week. I said "awesome" and "thanks" and got the hell off the phone so as not to cause him any further heartburn. Probably just a long week for him. Long week for me too, just brought my dog home from a rear leg amputation surgery (cancer). I can wait for the bullets, but damn, I sure wish they'd hurry up and get here! :biggrin:Thanks for the tip, I think these bullets are going to go together with my rifle just like peanut butter and jelly, or beans and weiners, or atheletes and strippers, or whiskey and ice cubes, you get the idea!

    Mark,
Just wanted to drop a THANK YOU for all the help and info thus far! Everything you have recommended has been spot on. the unique and universal clays were printing almost the same. The cast loads were accurate and a pleasure to shoot! Still have some tweaking to do but it wouldn't be any fun if everything was perfect!

Hope things are well on your end.

    Kevin
