    Marlin "X" gun cartridge porn

I don't know if this floats anyone's boat but how about some cartridge porn of the handloads you guys shoot in your "X" guns.

Here is the ammo my 30-06 shoots around .5"-.75" day in and day out. I developed the load for North Carolina deer hunting. 165gr Hornady SST of 56grs of IMR4350 in nickle plated Winchester brass.

    Lets see your handy work.
I don't drink or smoke, I spend my money on gunpowder and gasoline.

Nice pics. Maybe I'll try SST's too, gotta see first how NBT's work out.

165gr Nosler Ballistic Tip, 56grs Viht. N160 and Norma brass on their 8th reload, annealing done at 6th.

Haven't shot these yet. 55-57 grain seems to be sweet spot for my 30-06, so I believe these will group well. Planning to use this load on white tail, roe, beaver and maybe wild holg.

If my handloads for my X-gun weren't packed up in my bag to hit the range real quick I'd post some pitchers right now. I'll take some when I get home.

Hey Travis, have you killed any deer, yet? You need to get out and use those handloads on some game, man!

1 hog. I'm hoping I can kill a deer when I go back Monday, but seeing as how it's one of those counties in Texas where guys shoot anything that moves, and the fact that we can't shoot doe this year because of the drought, it makes it a little difficult. All bucks if they have 4 or more horns have to be 13" or better.
