    Best sling for your XL7

In keeping with the XL7's tradition of "best bang for your buck," I just purchased a Redfield scope on the broker and am looking for a sling to top off the package with. What "bang for your buck" slings do you recommend? I am eyeballing a couple:

Its just my preference but I don't care for padded slings. I like a tapered sling with the rough side down against my shoulder for non slip. When using a sling as a support in actual shooting I would choose a military type sling.

    here's both at Cabelas http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...=cat20776&rid=

I don't think a padded sling is needed with the X rifles. They are light enough not to dig into your shoulder.

I have a super sling that I bought on ebay for $12 shipped.

Here is where I got mine. The price went up. They also have it in Black (ask them).

I use the Marlin sling. I just change it from one gun to another.

I called Marlin today, and they no longer have slings with their logo on them, just regular leather belt slings. I was pretty disappointed.

I fourth it. the Claw is the best sling i've ever owned. it's the ONLY sling that does not move while walking and pulling game out.
