Hemi1011, I have not filed that complaint yet. It will be my next step. skmarsh77, I do not think any sort of restitution is coming without the expense of a law suit after all these guys are less than honorable.

Boy i sure am sorry to hear that you got burnt by this loser. When i looked at it originally in your post i couldnt believe it could have got out of the Original Marlin's doors like that, but i didnt want to bash a man's new rifle either.

Yeah BG I was having a hard time believing it got out of Marlin's QC looking like that. So now I don't know what to believe. Was it a Marlin QC issue or did someone change the stocks. Which ever the case it should have been disclosed when sold at auction. And the Mar-shield finish that is now gone, I suspect it happened somehow over time if the stocks are original. But this too should have been disclosed.
