2 (Qty.) New SBLs came in and headed right out to Ilion.

All I can say is it shocking that these two units made it through QC. I won't waste the time here to list all the things wrong with both rifles, but needless to say Ilion wants them back for replacement.

I read earlier how some factory workers may have sabotaged the product to "teach Marlin a lesson" for letting them go. If that theory holds true, these two rifles are a perfect example of that.

I'll give Ilion the chance to get it done right. We'll see.

What were the first two numbers or letters of the serial numbers?

I figured with the spread of serial numbers at least ONE would be good!

Congratulations! Those are Remlins and you sent them back for repair to the same people that made them. True JM stamped Marlins start with numbers. The 91's had barrel droop issues.

Those are Remington made rifles and had ZERO to do with former Marlin employees. Just more proof that you can't believe everything you read especially when written by a lazy beholden gun rag word slinger who takes the word of dual-mouthed factory public misguidance officials.

Yeah, What Eli said...BUT some former employee must be practicing Voodoo, because Ilion hasn't got it right yet.

My gun is going back for the second time, they are really stingy about refunds. Since mine is all sorts of screwed up (arguably moreso than when I shipped it in the first time) I really tried... the lady acted like I was the first to ever ask.

Thinks are so blatently wrong I have no idea how it could have been allowed to ship either time. Apparently the quality control is working very good, keeping it controlled to a low level.

Gee, thanks! Yes I know they're made by Remlin, but one would think American Pride and Craftmanship would shine through! What is happening to this country? Oh yeah.......Liberals are everywhere.

    Its Bush's fault!

Seriously though, I think a lot of it is Remington using the old Marlin employees as scapegoats for the problems. Its a lot easier to blame someone else rather than fix the problem.
