I had to settle for something

4 months ago I sent my 2 338 mx to Gravel Agency in Quebec to address the barrell droop , 2weeks ago The lady I spoke with told me sorry , no luck on fixing these guns until late 2012 .I do have some bolt guns as replacements to give to you,she replied .I did not want a refund because my wife will freak out if I was to purchase more guns. This week a remington 700 xcr 11 bone collector showed up ,I will add I like it .Then today I got my little 336 bl My wife watched with anticipation as i was smiling ,I had asked the Gravel Agency to really look over the 336 before you send it ,We inspect every firearm before it leaves thoroughly she replied .I continued to smile as I opened the box and saw the worst stock ever I will tell you I am a Sawyer and rough lumber would never leave my table in that shape , huge chunks were gone from the tang area the forearm is je! je! wow 3 inches wide .the oversized lever is in serious need of spacers to keep it snug . I do not believe in QA anymore , I have seen enough. Maybe the world is changing ,respect, honour, pride, seems to be long gone. I was proud of keeping it together in front of my wife ,maybe there is the most important QA ..... family

That is one of the sadder stories I have read here. To have to hide extreme disappointment from a loved one when you paid good money for a nice gun is sickening to me.. They are cutting their own throats by putting this stuff out.

Tales like this makes me sick.

What ever happened to quality workmanship?

If we don't demand a quality product we deserve what we get. Send it back for repair or refund. Pass out the torches and pitch forks boys!

I feel for ya man, upsetting as it is, stick to your "guns" send the dang thing back until they get it right.

Going through the same thing, it isnt a very nice feeling...4 months going on 5 for me.

    awful, just awful....

    Good Luck!
