    marlin refund checks

Both of my rifles have been back to the factory once already so this time I said I wanted a refund. After my rifles had been sitting at the factory for over a month I called and spoke with a girl named Lisa in customer service and she told me to fax my receipts to her direct and she would get them to the proper people. About 1 week after talking to her I called back and they said that they were entered in for refund on the 5th. I called last week (on about the 10th) and all they could tell me was they were entered on the 5th and it should be at least 3 weeks. So I called again today (the 15th) and the guy I talked to seemed to have a better understanding of how the refunds work there. He said that refund checks are mailed out on the 15th and the 30th of each month. He seemed to think that since mine was already submitted to accounting 10 days ago for a refund that it should be sent out today but if for some strange reason it isn't then definitely on the 30th. So anyone out there that is waiting for a refund make sure you have copies of your receipts so that you can fax them directly to the customer service people to try to speed up the amount of time it takes to get your refund back. I would think if it gets mailed out today I should have them no later than a week from now so I'll keep everyone posted.

My guess is use it toward a Down Payment on a Beautiful, Well Made, Fully Functional, USED 336 or 1895 SBL.

    Re: marlin refund checks

How is it that people that I have never met know me so well. I already have a stainless 336 in 30/30 on layaway looks unfired circa 2002 and I just talked to a guy today about selling me a stainless 1895 guide gun with a 93 serial number for $500.00. Hopefully he will hold it till next week when I get the money. I also have a 1992 1895ss that I would like to send to grizzly custom for some custom work but that might have to wait till these two get paid for and hidden in the safe before the wife sees them.
