Hello, I have a model 6084A "THE MOUNTAIN MAN" commemorative .22 rifle with a SIMMONS 3-9x32 scope on WEAVER mounts. I know nothing about guns and this one was given to me for a $100 debt about 10 yrs ago, I am looking to sell or trade the gun and am looking for a realistic value. I know the were inexpensive models but I don't want to short myself. The gun is in great shape, no rust or scratches and the scope has always had covers on the lenses. Thanks ahead for and guidance.
If it's really nice you might get around $100 for it. The "Mountain Man" was made for OTASCO stores in 1984, every year there was a different theme. There was also a Mountain Man 30-30 that year. If you decide to sell, please let me know as I have a Mountain Man 30-30 and it would be kind of neat to have the .22 as well.
I have more guns than I need, but not as many as I want.
