Really want a 45/70,
About to buy one or the other, first is a 1895 1996 build like new, second is a 2006 also like new
are the any differences or changes in the ten year gap.
Thanks in advance
If I ran across either one I'd probably take the first one I saw. Given a choice and both guns being equal condition and like prices, I'd go for the 1996. Best of luck on your final selection and we'll be waiting for pictures!

The 96 sounds like the winner if it's in good condition.
