    What would you do?

    Really want a 45/70,
    About to buy one or the other, first is a 1895 1996 build like new, second is a 2006 also like new
    are the any differences or changes in the ten year gap.

    If I ran across either one I'd probably take the first one I saw. Given a choice and both guns being equal condition and like prices, I'd go for the 1996. Best of luck on your final selection and we'll be waiting for pictures!
