That's what they make that little plastic card for but the only bad thing is paying the bill at the end of the month.

Never had one, nor do I plan on getting one. And my credit score is just fine

Yeah, a guy can get hooked on buying guns same as playing poker. I think the only gun I ever bought with a card, was running into a skeet grade 20 ga M12 in Scheels in Reno a year or so back. They only had 750 on it, and even it being a late late pre 64 gun, I knew that was way below current value, and got out the plastic.

I simply think they overlooked that it was a skeet, as 750 would be roughly the asking price on a field 20.

Its worth a close look at the gun racks in most stores like Cabelas, or Scheels. Rarely, do they ever employ anything but a young novice "gun expert". More than once, I have snagged the more rare versions of guns in both stores, at a low price.

A lot of gun shows don't take plastic, that is why I carry cash. Unfortunately I seldom leave with it, my uncle spent my pocket money the last time for a 35 xlr because the guy didn't take plastic. Fortunately we left before the bank closed before we went to the second show.

Hey, the old saying about "cash talks" at a gun show, is always proven factual the majority of the time. Some rare times, the seller may wait for ya to go to the bank, but not unless they know ya pretty well.

Prices are getting high at gun shows and online auctions. I hit pawnshops, local newspaper, estate auctions, farm auctions, I make sure everyone at work know I'm into guns and believe it or not Gander Mountain. They apparently don't know prices on used guns! I've seen some great deals here lately and I only have so much money and safe space. I was shopping for another safe this past weekend.
