If you get to shooting that 92 in .32 Long you'll start ignoring all your others Loggah! It's a real favorite of mine, and super accurate in the Marlins I have too!-Vall

    1892 marlin caliber?

    Great looking 1892's 6pt!!!

Must be a sweet little cartidge to shoot. More than a .22 but probably recoil practically nil. Didn't they advertise these as being great for butchering cows and pigs?? I think they did anyway. Probably would work quite well. The local slaughter guy has a TON of experience and has used a .22 magnum for years with great success so I'd think that a .32 Long would work quite well too.

    1892 marlin caliber?

I have two 1892's in 32 caliber. They both have a little side-play in the lever. Anybody else experience this? If so will it help to replace the finger lever screw or does the lever normally need work too? Thanks in advance!

    1892 marlin caliber?

    Oshotley,
That's a tough one to say. It could be either or both. Easiest thing would be to drill and bush thelever to match the worn screw, as it might be a chore to find the screw. I picked up a 1892 .32 parts gun at our show today, but unfortunately it's missing the parts your needing. (along with most the other internals!)

    1892 marlin caliber?

I have been able to find some .32 shorts but for the life of me I have only been able to get one box of .32 long. Any ideas where I can get any longs?

    1892 marlin caliber?

I used to find a box or two at every gun show I attended. I even found a guy who had 14 boxes of .32 Long rimfire Cannuck ammo! But I haven't found any more .32 Longs for probably a year or so.
Seems everybody is more interested in it now, and it's just dried up!
