    218 Bee ?

    What is the current value on an original rifle in good shape with maybe some minor battle scars?I,m waitin on pics and want to make a fair offer dependin on condition.I will not physically be able to see or hold the rifle.

    If it is a newer Marlin, it is a 1894CL. Here is a link to Gunbrokers.com of completed sales. Looks like $550 to over $1000 depending on the shape it is in. Several here to compare it to.

    I was unable to access that link Schtoolee.It just puts me to a login page.I couldn,t access Marlins thru a search on their yesterday either.

    Hey there g.o.b. -- Schtoolee has bracketed the price range well. There are some rifles that were run for commemorative issue. These have related medallions either stuck to the side of the receiver or embedded in the butt stocks. Here is what the Plain Jane rifle looks like...
