Does anyone here like Kershaw knives?
There is something about them that I like. What is everyone's opinion on them?
Here is my newest addition, a Damascus leek..
Wow! I didn't know they make the Leek in Damascus, that is nice. I saw they are making a Leek with a D-2
edge which is joined onto the standard material. Looks nice and D-2 can't be beat (if tempered correctly)
it is selling for $80.
I carry the standard Leek and like it very much. I have their blade trader kitchen set that is pretty good too.
But......I still hunt for the long lasting edge knife. Just can't justify the HIGH prices.

I've had Leek for years.
I also have an Outcast which I keep in my Jeep for "emergency" purposes.
I've really been wanting one of these for some time now. A little pricey though, which is why I don't have one.
speak softly and carry a 50 bmg...
I carry a leek even though it's illegal here in Wa state. Can't have those evil assisted opening knives in public you know. Got mine at a gun show in Portland Or where a guy sells seconds. went through the pile, found the one I wanted and it has never failed me. I've had it for about six years now.I figure its a good deal for under 40 bucks.

I have carried my ripcord this week at work.. It seems to disappear on my belt, and works great when I need it.. The edge is holding up great to small box cutting...
I've carried a rainbow leek for the last 5 years. I like the fact that it holds a sharp edge and its thin,so it carries well..............Oh, ........everyone wants to know about the knife when they see the colors.......I like it , but if I need to replace it, I'll get one with a darker finish........I guess the novelty has worn off.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
There's a leek in my pocket right now......it's done everything from open envelpes to skin wild hogs. It is one of my favorite pocket knives, and I like the assisted opening so much I sold my Micro-tech. (you can buy 1/2 dozen Kershaws for what a Micro-tech costs )

ome people are like Slinkies. They're really good for
nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when
you push them down a flight of stairs
i have edc'ed a scallion for the last eight or more years, it's never let me down. iam in to rat cutlery knives now but the scallion
will always be clipped to my front pocket.
ps: first post here on the forum. great site!!!
I'm rather a Kershaw fan, from inception to Today. Their "Gentleman's Folder" in VG10,easily amongst their best efforts,in regards to practical utility.
