Need help finding a new toy

New to this forum as a member always lingered as a guest and read up on everything I've wanted or needed to know slowly fueling my "need" for a lever gun. I caught the lever bug awhile back and bought a squirrel/rabbit/coon gun (Henry 22, frontier model) and have rained led on to many tree rats to count. From there its been down hill since... i need to feed my sickness. Lately I've been looking for a new deer rifle as OH finally allows straight walled cartridges for deer season. So i settled on the case hardened 45-70 (H010cc) Only issue being i haven't been able to locate one! Ive tried buds, gun broker, and slickguns.com to no avail. If anyone has any leads on one id greatly appreciate it. Till then i guess i will be feeding my addiction with the little 22.

    Thanks Guys/Gals

Howdy, Strings, and welcome to the camp from northeast Indiana. C'mon over by the fire and have a seat on this here block of ash. Coffee is in the pot. Help yourself. You empty it, you re-fill it. We really lust for Marlin porn here but Henry porn is more than acceptable. Too bad you didn't post some pictorial evidence of that Henry.

Try Hinterland Outfitters. Great to deal with. Prices seem pretty good.

Well you've definitely come to the right place.
Cuz there's more enablers here than you can shake a stick at.

lol, but like DR & Marlinjunkie said.

Call Henry tell 'em what you want and where ya live.
They will have a list of dealers in your area that they will send it to.
    It's that easy.

    Anything else ya lookin fer

    Hey Strings,

    Welcome to MO.

Had a chance to shoot a Henry in 45/70.

Well made, and shot just dandy!

Thank you for the welcomes, ill work on learning to post pictures eventually...

I suppose the question is if i order DR do i pay their price opposed to the dealers? I am seeing almost $250 difference there.

MD, I've already checked hinterland no luck ether.

Ive talked to a few of the big stores around me about having one ordered (Basspro, Cabelas, Gander) and all say they have to sell that model in order to order it and none do. This rifle seems ever so illusive which is odd seen as i can find the 30-30 model with no issues. The "hunt" for this rifle is only making me want one more which is never good.
