It's getting closer to the opening day for the special spring hog season at woodbury WMA. Opening day is Monday March 1st. The season is March 1st - 20th (Mon. - Sat.). I will be using a vacation day on monday March 1st to go if anyone is from the nearby area and wants to go get in touch with me
Sounds like a good hunt, I would consider it but I just got back from a week long bow hunt in Ga.
Well they are having a summer season also so if you want to come to the beach with the family then sneak off to do a little hog hunting let me know its May 2nd - Aug 28th Thurs- Sat only. Also I am in the works with the DNR about getting together with land owners about hunting because of hog problems and I am in talks with a few people about hunting on their property. private lands no closed season
We unusually make a trip to the coast every August; I’ll keep that in mind. I bet the rattlesnakes, black gnats, and mosquitoes are pretty bad around that time though…
yeah but its the water moccasin's that are worse.. I have a few thermacells so the bugs are not to bad
