I picked up a Ruger Super Blackhawk in 44 Magnum 7 1/2" Barrel today for $250.00 added another $50.00 to get 4 boxes of factory ammo with it. That's $12.50 a box, and it came with an Uncle Mike's Sidekick holster. I think that is a pretty sweet deal (in California no less). It took a little cleaning but it functions perfectly. Now need to go put a few rounds thru it. I'll be giving it to my son, after his service in hostile countries, he deserves it.

Good for you--I did the same thing. I got my son a S&W 29-2 ( .44 Mag.) and gave it to him after his discharge from the Marines. He definitely deserved his also-----spent most of his time in Falujah when things were really hot over there. Glad to have him home safe and sound.

My son enlisted in the US Air Force like I did and his granfather had, but he got recognise for some of the things I taught him. He was recruited into a special unit and worked some very classified project in the sandbox arena. Came home and did not tell anyone what happened or that he had been hurt. He has just started to open up to me. It began with a couple questions he had and then we talked. Not everyone serves conventionally. He has even had bad guys come here and look for him, he caught one outside his apartment window. That guy is now on an island vacation. I will pass all your thanks on to him.

Sweet deal on a nice revolver--Pass along "thanks for your service" from myself and the rest of the MO crowd.
Wow, paid full price for mine. They are built like a tank and absorb the energy very well. That is a fantastic find, and a very fitting gift. Your son deserves all our thanks for his service. Thank You.
