I been just useing oil but it seems to not lubricate as nice as I'd like.

I use Rig +P stainless grease, even if they aren't stainless. It sticks around, doesn't run and works well! Otherwise I use CLP, in a pinch, but it runs.

LSA, or White Lithium Grease. LSA (Medium grade weapon oil) is hard to find, I was given some by an AR-15 fanatic who swears by it, and he'd bought a case (144 bottles) of it at a government auction. I use it very sparingly, but it's good stuff, and stays put. The White Lithium Grease is available at Auto Supply houses. I'd prefer a tube with a pointed nozzle over a spray can, but it was there, so I bought it. It works well, and handles high temps without cooking down.

Lubriplate # 105 white grease. It stays put and doesn't burn away. You can get it from Brownell's It comes in a 10 oz tube for about $8.
