SB-2 30-06 loads/accuracy...

I have a SB-2 Handi dandi rifle in 30-06 (also have one in 45-70) and it wears a survivor stockset. I have yet to scope it and am hoping to rectify that in the next week or 2. Any favorite loadings or bullet weights for accuracy?

hello patty i have a 06 and it seems to like the rem 150core locts in factory. whats nice about the 06 is their is agood selection to choose from. try a couple different loads to see witch one it likes and congrats on your new purchase.

I had a 30/06 SB2 that would shoot most anything well except Winchester rounds that came in the white box with red writing on them. It snapped 50% of them and shot 50% on 3 different boxes from 3 differnt lots #'s


other than that if you can get a peperroni pizza to hold a cap i think it will shoot it too pretty good.
