used Ultra Slug Hunter...whats it worth?

Hey all,
considering a H&R heavy barrel Slug gun in 12 ga. Ran into my brother in law who swears he paid $160 new for his a couple years ago. Any way this one is used but in good shape. Cabellas is asking $220 Whats goin on here? Guns increasing in valu is a myth...or is it. Incidentally, they had a cheaper one there. Crown was definately ruined. Also looked like the barrel was sleeved to make the heavy barrel. Really poor job. The others looked nice. Anyone else run into this?

Heavy barrel guns sell for more. I don't doubt his $160, but that was a deal.
