H+R Model M12 .22 Single Shot Target Rifle

Hi Folks, I am looking for some history on the H+R, Model M12, .22 Rifle i.e. production dates, number made, purpose, etc.
I have had mine for about 10 to 12 years and as far as I know it has never been fired. It has a U.S. serial number on the receiver. Thanks, Paul Nelson

RFC has lots of discussions on the M12 in the Marlin/H&R/NEF forum, it's very popular. There's a build year list in the GBO H&R FAQs and Help sticky, link in my sig line below. B Goforth is a very knowledgeable source for info on old H&R firearms, you can ask questions on the forums listed on his website, or just search those sites for info
