Don't forget to maintain the inside of your rifles too, even if it is stainless. Because all of the parts are not stainless steel. And even stainless steel can rust, depending on the alloy.

Lew what is your preferred rust preventative? I normally would use Tetra Gun or Rem Oil.

I don't think that the brand matters as much as the fact that you use it.
I am currently using a product from Du-Lite called Kwikseal. I get it from the same folks that I get my bluing supplies from. I think that Brownell's carries it as well.
It seems to work pretty well.

Thanks Lew! I've seen similar products for the outside of the firearm, but not ones specific to the inside. I will do some more research. I keep Blue Wonder Armadillo on hand for the outsides.
